To be eligible for the Sons of The American Legion the following guidelines must be met.

 

All sons, grandsons, great grand sons etc., adopted sons and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants of Veterans who died in service during World War I, World War II, and Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and the Persian Gulf War, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section 1, of the National Constitution of the American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service.

 

 

Below are the dates of eligibility for the sponsoring Veteran.

(December 7, 1941 - December 31, 1946) World War II
 
(June 25, 1950 - January 31, 1955) Korean War
 
(February 28, 1961 - May 7, 1975) Vietnam War
 
(August 24, 1982 - July 31,1984) Lebanon/Grenada
 
(December 20, 1989 - January 31, 1990) Operation Just Cause
       
         (August 2, 1990 - Today) Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm
 
 
 
 
Dues amount for Squadron #23

Senior members $20.00

Junior members (Under the age of 21) $10.00

Dual members (Must be a paid Legion member) $7.00

 

Print this page and fill the application out along with a check or money order for the dues amount and a copy of the sponsoring Veterans active military honorable discharge papers (DD214).
